The house was quiet, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, near the river and gardens but close to town. The hostess, Heather, was delightful and friendly. The beds and rooms were exceptionally clean and cozy.
Nothing to dislike.

A dreamlike accommodation with super beautiful furnishings in an optimal location with a delicious breakfast (many different kinds of cereals with various local fruits, toast, tea and much more). On the floor there are various kinds of tea, cookies, a tea maker and refrigerator. Great service and very nice host☺. Not to mention a balcony where we could enjoy abeautiful view of the park.
Our room (triple bed) was the only one with a bathroom in the hallway. Not quite optimal, but since we had it for ourselves, okay.

The breakfast was great, the personnel was FANTASTIC, the bed was comfy. Don't forget to dine at Chaiyo Restaurant, it's within 10 minutes walk or so, we loved it. The room design was lovely. We were greeted by friendly owner.

The room we stayed in had a beautiful veranda, which was the best part of the experience. We also appreciated the quiet surroundings as well as the convenience of the location. It was easy to find a good place to eat and explore the area.
We were hoping for a cooked meal, but instead, we were offered just a simple continental breakfast with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juice. We were hoping for something more substantial to start our day.

Beautiful historical building, well-kept
A bit unfriendly reception during our arrival is at 20:30. However, we had announced this directly at the time of booking and was also confirmed by the hostess. She had probably forgotten this, but there was still no excuse.

The house with a history (built in 1880) tells a lot on its own! The rooms are cosy and the bathroom was clean. Sussex house is central and Heather even drove us to the bus! Breakfast: great with fresh fruit etc.
Nelson is very sleepy in the evening...but the accommodation can't help it :-)

We had a luxurious stay at this hotel as it offered exclusive amenities like a private balcony and a spacious lounge with antique furnishings. the room was well-equipped with a large comfortable bed and modern en-suite bathroom. the staff provided exceptional service and were always available to assist us. the hotel's location was also advantageous, as it was within walking distance to the city center with its variety of restaurants and cafes.
The only minor issue we encountered was the limited breakfast menu which mostly included continental options. the coffee was excellent and always available, making up for the lack of cooked meals.

The historic residence had a quaint feel that was nice to experience, and the free parking was convenient. the location was close to restaurants and allowed for easy access to explore the area. the breakfast served in the dining room was enjoyable.
The Christmas decorations were lacking and failed to contribute to a festive atmosphere. the staff seemed a bit disorganized and did not seem to be aware of all the amenities the hotel offered.
